This book consists of two chapters and each chapter consists of several parts.

این کتاب از دو فصل و هر فصل از چند قسمت تشکیل شده ،
در فصل اول علاوه بر مقدمه به بیوگرافی اسدالله علم و اردشیر زاهدی و سابقه تاسیس وزارت امور خارجه و اسامی وزاری امور خارجه از بدو تاسیس تا زمان حال و تشکیل کابینه توسط وزرای امورخارجه و دیپلمات های این وزارت خانه اختصاص یافته ،
در فصل دوم نیز برداشت های شخص شاه و علم و هویدا نسبت به اردشیر زاهدی (شاه روزانه بمدت ۹۰ دقیقه گزارشات مربوط به وزارت امور خارجه را مطالعه می نموده) بدون هیچگونه دخل و تصرفی و به همان شکل که در چاپ یازدهم یاداشت های علم منتشره توسط انتشارات مازیار در سال ۱۳۹۱ درج گردیده اختصاص یافته است.
