The topics of the book are organized in two parts: in the first part, Saleh Najafabadi's response to Professor Motahari's criticism about the book ''Shahid Javid'' is written. In the second part, Najafabadi lists the weak points of the book (Hosseini's Epic) written by Professor Motahari. Among the points that he has pointed out: Martyr Motahari's reference to sources is invalid. In a part of the book, he does not consider Shahid Motahari's analysis to be in line with reality and points out conflicts in this regard. He also admits that in some cases, Professor Motahari's perceptions of the behavior and speech of the Imam (a.s.) caused Imam (a.s.) to fall from being a role model.

مباحث کتاب در دو بخش سامان یافته است: در بخش نخست پاسخ صالح نجف‌آبادی به نقد استاد مطهری در باب کتاب "شهید جاوید" به طبع رسیده است. در بخش دوم نجف‌آبادی نقاط ضعف کتاب "حماسه حسینی" نوشته استاد مطهری را برمی‌شمارد. از جمله نکاتی که وی بدان اشاره کرده است: استناد شهید مطهری به منابع فاقد اعتبار است. در بخشی از کتاب نیز وی تحلیل‌های شهید مطهری را منطبق با واقعیت ندانسته به تعارض‌هایی در این خصوص اشاره می‌کند. وی همچنین اذعان می‌دارد در پاره‌ای موارد برداشت‌های استاد مطهری از رفتار و گفتار امام (ع) سبب شده، قیام امام (ع) از الگو بودن ساقط شود.
