In 1330 A.H., Russia invaded the territory of Iran. This provoked the anger of the scholars and great verses based on Atbat. In this book, the author has tried to portray the efforts of the scholars in encouraging the people to resist the aggressors. The author of the book was one of the eyewitnesses and published the book one year after the end of the scholars' movement in Baghdad. In this book, in addition to the author's observations, telegrams exchanged between Kazimin and different cities in Iran have been collected. The book begins with the introduction and the chronology of the events of 1324-1330 AH and its final pages are devoted to the list of announcements.

در سال 1330ه‌.ق ، روسیه به خاک ایران تجاوز کرد .این امر، خشم علما و آیات عظام مستقر در عتبات را برانگیخت .نویسنده در این کتاب کوشیده است تلاش علما را در ترغیب مردم به مقاومت علیه متجاوزان به تصویر کشد. نویسندۀ کتاب یکی از شاهدان عینی بوده و کتاب را یک سال بعد از پایان نهضت علما در بغداد، منتشر کرده است. در این کتاب، افزون بر مشاهدات نگارنده، تلگراف‌های متبادله بین کاظمین و شهرهای مختلف ایران، گرد آمده است. کتاب با مقدمه و روزشمار وقایع سال‌های 1330ـ 1324ه‌ .ق آغاز می‌شود و صفحات پایانی آن به فهرست اعلام اختصاص می‌یابد.
