The American Trap - In this book, Frederic Pierucci, former director of a subsidiary of Alstom Energy, tells about his experience with the American justice system in one of the most serious corruption cases that shook public opinion in the world. This text, co-written by press reporter Matthew Aaron, comes in the context of presenting the ways and means adopted by the US administration to subjugate European multinationals, especially French, under the pretext of fighting corruption, in an attempt to dominate the energy sector and acquire the largest segment of it. The case of the French company Alstom is a vivid example of this. Pierucci was imprisoned and the American judiciary indicted him on corruption charges and subjected him to the most heinous forms of extortion, forcing his company to abandon him and sell its assets to the American company General Electric.
