Aḥmad Khvīshtan-dār Langarūdī

Ahmad Khwishtandār Langarudi was born in June 1947 in Langarud, Iran. After completing his secondary education in literature and fulfilling his military service, he joined the Ministry of Education in 1973.
His entry into the world of literature began during high school, when he started composing Gilaki folk couplets (do-beyti). His first poem, a ghazal titled “Come and Be Kind”, was published in 1968 in Omid-e Iran magazine.

So far, he has published 14 books in the fields of poetry and children’s literature.
