The six-member American platoon is assigned the task of being stationed in a mansion in the heart of the forest to watch out for possible enemy provocations in that area. These war-weary soldiers, who have lost many of their comrades, soon notice the presence of German forces near them. The Germans tell the Americans with their strange behavior that they are also tired of the war and want non-violence. and give up the conflict. The two groups agree to perform the captured scene in the middle of a quiet night. But is it so easy to escape from the violence of war?

به جوخه شش نفره آمریکایی ماموریت می دهند با استقرار در عمارتی در دل جنگل مراقب تحریکات احتمالی دشمن در آن منطقه باشد. این سربازان خسته از جنگ که بسیاری از همرزمان خود را از دست داده اند خیلی زود متوجه حضور نیروهای آلمانی در نزدیکی خود می شوند آلمانی ها با رفتار عجیب خود به آمریکایی ها می فهمانند که آن ها نیز از جنگ خسته اند و می خواهند بدون خشونت و درگیری تسلیم شوند. دو گروه با هم به توافق می رسند تا در یک نیمه شب آرام صحنه اسیر گیری را اجرا کنند. اما آیا به این سادگی می توان از خشونت جنگ گریخت ؟
