The present illustrated book is based on the thoughts of "Levi Strauss"; He is the founder of the structuralist anthropology school. His statements have fueled interdisciplinary conversations in humanities, which resulted in the clarification of key concepts and categories for critical theories. In this book, first, the path of the formation of Strauss' thoughts; has been followed from the description of the relationships governing the most basic types of family to his important discovery about savage thinking. Then his theories have been considered in the fields of the formation process of cultures. Also, in this book, the important contribution of Lévi-Strauss to contemporary aesthetic theory is mentioned. It is worth mentioning that his studies on American Indians and the important role that the results of this study play in understanding how art emerges have also been examined.
