Tārīkh-i Kirmān: Persian 1400

The current two-volume book, whose contents are included in one volume, is dedicated to the political history of Kerman from ancient times to the Qajar era. The book begins with a detailed introduction by Dr. Bastani Parisi. After mentioning the influence of geographical factors on the people of Kerman, he refers to the sources of the history of this land and the author of the book and his work. The contents of the first volume include the beginning of the history of Kerman in the ancient period until the rule of Al Muzaffar. In this volume, the subjects such as the rule of Ardeshir Sassanid, Kerman during the Arab invasion and the Abbasid period, the rule of the "Safarians" of Al-Buyeh, the Seljuks of Kerman, the control of the Gazans over Kerman, the rule of the Qarakhtais and the rule of Al-Muzaffar are mentioned. In this section, the author deals with the political developments of Kerman in each of these historical periods. In the second volume, the situation of Kerman during the period of Gorkani, Safavid, Mahmud Afghan, Zand and Qajar regimes is examined. The author deals with Kerman in the Qajar era in more detail than other periods and mentions every ruler of Kerman in this period and the most important events of their era. The book ends with a brief history of Mirza Agha Khan Kermani and a list of the governors of Kerman. Photos of Kerman's historical monuments and famous people are attached and at the end of the list of names.
