In the middle of the classical age, Spinoza disrupted the relationships between the State, philosophy, and religion. In a situation where the philological revolution calls into question the reading of sacred texts, the philosophy of power poses the questions of prophecy, miracles, the canon of Holy Scripture, and the laws of Nature. It questions the origin of the State: a social pact or passionate genesis?
