The studies and research carried out about theorizing and presenting and reviewing the views raised in this field, as well as the published books and articles, speak of this concern and effort. Mofid University tries to explain, theorize, and expand human sciences by using Islamic teachings, to present its research achievements as well as the result of the efforts of prominent foreign researchers to the scientific community of the country with Persian translation. The current book, which is called "Islam and Economic Development", was written by Professor Chapra. The author has made smoothing the path to achieve economic development in Islamic countries in the face of his efforts, after examining the development strategies based on the market and socialist economy, he explained the development from the perspective of Islam. He tries to answer this important question if it is possible to achieve a suitable and successful strategy within the framework of religious thinking, why are Muslim countries still struggling with the phenomenon of underdevelopment? While drawing the five stages of development, he emphasizes that if the economy of development wants to realize the real welfare of all people, it should enter the fifth stage as soon as possible. This stage emphasizes not only economic progress but also other factors affecting human well-being.
