"Adiaforos" and other texts of his youth From 1893 to 1896 the young Proust sharpened his knives as a writer for the magazine La Revue blanche. In "Indifferent", as in "Before Night Falls", lust dominates. This short story was first published on March 1, 1896 in La vie contemporaine et Revue parisienne reunions. With the condensed narrative plot and the perfect closure of the story, the author remains faithful to the stylistic requirements of the short story. It follows the perspective of a woman in love and establishes the phenomenology of passionate consciousness, studying and analyzing love throughout its duration (from the moment it is born to its end), in its various complexities (social and interpersonal) and in its emotional state (love in Proust is a calvary)...
