My Memoirs – Volume I (Iran) by Partow Nooriala is a deeply personal memoir that chronicles the author’s life through four transformative decades, from 1946 to 1985. Born into a literary family, Nooriala grew up surrounded by poetry, art, and intellectual discussion. Partow Nooriala is a poet, writer, and literary critic whose work spans poetry, fiction, drama, and literary studies. She has published twelve books, including poetry collections such as A Share of the Years, Through the Eye of the Wind, and My Earth Became Other, as well as critical works including Art and Consciousness and Two Critiques. Her contributions to Persian literature and criticism have been recognized internationally, including the First Prize for Best Critic of the Year from the Baran Publishing Literary Competition in Sweden in 1994.
