The Book Works of Children’s Book Illustrators is a specialized publication in the field of children’s book illustration, published on the occasion of the first exhibition of children’s book illustrators in Iran, held in November 1989. Adopting a documentary and visual approach, the book introduces the artworks, artists, and the cultural context surrounding the emergence of the first organized movement of children’s book illustration in Iran.

In addition to a visual report of the exhibition, the publication presents selected works by prominent illustrators and gathers information related to the early currents of children’s illustration in Iran. The cover design was created by Ebrahim Haghighi, the calligraphy by Mohammad Ehsai, and the graphic design by Saeed Behroozi.

Published in Persian and in horizontal folio format, this book today holds not only artistic value but also significant historical importance, and is regarded as one of the earliest documentary records of the professional development of children’s book illustration in Iran.
