Examining the role of women and the reflection of their image in the Shahnameh is one of the debates that has always been disputed by researchers, and the debates and misconceptions about it have not yet ended. Some consider Shahnameh to have a misogynistic approach, and others seek to reject this claim. The book Woman in the Shahnameh is a doctoral thesis of Jalal Khaleghi Moltaq, which was published in German in 1970. The present translation was made from the German text and the author added some notes to it.
