The celebrated and unparalleled masterpiece of Nizami Ganjavi, known as the Khamsa or Five Treasures, holds a distinguished position within the realm of romantic narrative poetry. It comprises Makhzan al-Asrār, Khosrow and Shirin, Layli and Majnun, Haft Paykar, and the Eskandar-nāmeh, itself consisting of two parts: Sharaf-nāmeh and Eqbāl-nāmeh.
