Five Star English has been developed for people working or training to work in the hotel and toursit industry. It begins at pre-intermediate level and takes the learner trough to a good intermediate level in all four language skills, with particular emphasis on understanding and speaking English. There are 12 main units and 3 revision units, giving an approximate total of classroom teching. Each main unit deals with different aspects of the industry; the situations and activities are as authentic as possible, having been carefully researched with assistance from the Yorkshire and Humberside Tourist Board and the Hong Kong Tourist Association.
