The articles in this book are written in two parts. Its general axis includes articles about education and the role of the history teacher. This axis is faced with the challenges of ideological-oriented content of history textbooks, especially contemporary history, neglect of history and identity in education system policymaking, students' disinterest in history, removal of the history lesson in entrance exams, the prevalence of the traditional method (class lectures), history education And... is trying to provide solutions to history teachers to overcome the mentioned problems. In this axis, methods such as using the educational method of problem posing as well as the method of questioning and reasoning are taken into consideration, as well as the use of media and new approaches in history education, including teaching aids, educational media, film, Urdu, and especially the collective convergence approach, and especially The use of children's and adolescent literature in history education has been examined. Examining the role of history textbooks is another topic to which a part of the articles in this book is dedicated. Therefore, on this topic, articles such as the role of Women, the Position of the Press and the reflection on the history of Ancient Iran in history textbooks, the historiography of Abbas Iqbal Ashtiani's textbooks, and finally the representation of Mossadegh's career in textbooks before and after the revolution, have been examined.
