As an important commercial highway, the Persian Gulf has had a great impact on the political, economic, and even social developments in Iran for a long time. Therefore, in this research, in the form of historical work, Iran's commerce and politics in the Persian Gulf during the transitional period of Afshariya and Zandiyeh are examined. In this regard, the role of Nadir Shah Afshar in the ruling business of the Persian Gulf and his murder and the beginning of the decentralization period and its effects on Iranian shipping; The background of the emergence of Karim Khan and the formation of the Zandiya government and the performance of that government in the Persian Gulf and the effects of Karim Khan's death on Iran's trade in the Persian Gulf are described.

خلیج فارس به عنوان یک شاهراه تجاری مهم از دیرباز تأثیر فراوانی بر تحولات سیاسی، اقتصادی و حتی اجتماعی در ایران داشته است. از این‌ رو در این پژوهش در قالب یک اثر تاریخی، بازرگانی و سیاست ایران در خلیج فارس در دوران انتقالی افشاریه و زندیه بررسی می‌شود. در این راستا نقش نادرشاه افشار در تجارت حاکم بر خلیج فارس و قتل او و آغاز دوره تمرکز‌زدایی و اثرات آن بر دریانوردی ایران؛ زمینه‌های ظهور کریم خان و تشکیل دولت زندیه و عملکرد آن دولت در خلیج فارس و اثرات مرگ کریم خان در تجارت ایران در خلیج فارس، شرح داده می‌شود.
