يقدم هذا الكتاب لمحة شاملة ومفصلة عن حضور الشخصية الأرمنية، والأبعاد الإنسانية للصور المختلفة لتلك الشخصية داخل متون الأدب العربي، بمختلف أجناسه الفنية والتعبيرية. ولقد كان للشخصية الأرمنية حضور لافت ومهم، فانعكست صورتها في النصوص الأدبية؛ وخاصة الجنس الروائي الذي احتلت فيه مكانة لائقة في أعمال العديد من كبار كتاب الرواية العربية.وقد برهنت هذه الدراسة التحليلية- التي تصدَّت لتلك النصوص- عن الأوجه المختلفة للشخصية الأرمنية في الأدب العربي، وأبرزت- بكثير من التأني- أبعادها ومضامينها الإنسانية. كما قدمت هذه الدراسة فهماً تحليلياً عميقاً وشاملاً، بيّنت من خلاله أسس التفاعلات الثقافية بين العرب والأرمن، وكيف أثر هذا التفاعل على بناء الهوية في كلّ من الثقافتين اللتين تم من خلالهما رسم صورة الشخصية الأرمنية التي تبدَّت مثيرة في تخطيها للحدود الزمانية والجغرافية.
