Celebration is the most prominent manifestation of ancient Iranian culture. Some celebrations have survived the passage of time, while others have faded into oblivion. Nowruz is the greatest celebration that has survived to this day. Without ancient celebrations, any understanding of Iranian culture is incomplete and inadequate.
