Mehdi Sanaei (born 1968) is an Iranian reformist politician and diplomat who has been the Deputy for Political Affairs of the President's Office since September 1403 and the Political Advisor to the President since November 1403. He is also an associate professor of international relations at the University of Tehran. He is a former Iranian ambassador to Russia and a representative of the Nahavand constituency in the eighth and ninth terms of the Islamic Consultative Assembly.

مهدی سنایی (زاده ۱۳۴۷) سیاستمدار اصلاح‌طلب و دیپلمات ایرانی است که در دولت چهاردهم از شهریور ۱۴۰۳ معاون امور سیاسی دفتر رئیس‌جمهور و از آبان ۱۴۰۳ مشاور سیاسی رئیس‌جمهور است. وی همچنین دانشیار روابط بین‌الملل دانشگاه تهران است.وی سفیر پیشین ایران در روسیه و نماینده حوزه انتخابیه نهاوند در دوره هشتم و نهم مجلس شورای اسلامی بوده‌است.
