Dawlat, Maṣliḥat, Bunyān'hā-yi Naẓarī: Persiska (Farsi) 1403

From the spring of 2001 to the fall of 2009, the Institute for Research and Development of Humanities published the specialized quarterly Farhang Andisheh to respond to intellectual needs and strengthen study resources in the field of humanities and social sciences. This quarterly, with a dedicated editor, presented a topic to the audience in the form of a research file containing authored and translated articles in each issue. The main goal of publishing the quarterly was to discuss and debate the challenges facing Iranian society and to provide practical and theoretical solutions in this area. Therefore, after more than a decade of suspension of publication, the topics and articles published in it are still a place of reference and use for researchers. Therefore, the previous issues of the journal have been republished in the form of a book to facilitate access to its contents for those interested. The present book is the thirteenth issue of Farhang Andisheh, which was published in the spring of 2005 under the editorship of Dr. Seyyed Ali Mir Mousavi on the topic of "State, Expediency in Theoretical Foundations." The authors of the articles in this series have addressed the issue of state and expediency from the perspective of Shiite political jurisprudence. Topics such as public interest and government, religion, national interest, the globalization of the state; the crisis of legitimacy, and political competition are among the topics of this book.
