'Abd'Al-Qādir Gilānī: Persiska (Farsi) 1399

When we talk about Islam and Sufi order culture, the name Abdulkadir Geylani is one of the first names that comes to mind. Hazrat Pir Seyyid Abdulkadir Geylani's personality and Qadiriyya culture are important elements of our scientific, cultural life, and spiritual history. However, it should be noted with regret that there is no serious Turkish research about both Abdulkadir Geylani and Qadiriyya, except for one or two articles. On the other hand, there are several non-academic large and small works, but it is not unnoticed that almost all of them are far from scientific discipline and written with fanatic feelings. This work in your hands is important because it is the first study in Turkey to address this subject at an academic level. The work consists of three main sections: the "Evaluation of Sources" section and an "Appendix" section. In the first section, after briefly discussing the history of Sufism and the era in which Abdulkadir Geylani lived, Abdulkadir Geylani's life works, works attributed to him, a hagiography written about him, and recent studies on him are examined. In the second section, Abdulkadir Geylani's Sufi views are presented. In the third section, the Qadiriyya Order is discussed, and the distribution of the order, its branches, and its procedures, etiquettes, and rules are investigated. In the appendix section, the Turkish translation of Abdulkadir Geylani's Akide is presented.
