Many manuscripts written in the Safavid era are considered documents from that period and contain a lot of information that needs to be extracted and analyzed. With such an approach, the present book tries to discuss some issues in the field of religion and culture of this important period of Iranian history based on the possibility of accessing several manuscripts written from the Safavid era and showing how much valuable material is contained in the Safavid era chronicles. It cannot be found from them, it can be extracted based on the information contained in the beginning and end of manuscripts written from the Safavid era. Also, in this book, the author has presented a detailed report of several studies conducted on the Safavid era, which can open new perspectives to Safavid studies.

نسخه‌های خطی فراوانی که در عصر صفویه کتابت شده‌اند، به مثابه اسنادی از آن دوره به شمار رفته و دارای اطلاعات فراوانی هستند که لازم است نسبت به استخراج و بررسی آنها اقدام شود. کتاب حاضر با چنین رویکردی تلاش دارد تا بر اساس امکان دسترسی به شماری از نسخه‌های خطی کتابت شده از روزگار صفوی به طرح برخی مباحث در حوزه دین و فرهنگ این دورۀ مهم تاریخ ایران بپردازد و نشان دهد چه مقدار مطالب ارزشمند که در تواریخ عصر صفوی سخنی از آنها نمی‌توان یافت می توان بر اساس اطّلاعات مندرج در آغاز و انجام نسخه‌های خطّی کتابت شده از عصر صفوی استخراج کرد. همچنین نویسنده در این کتاب گزارش مبسوطی از شماری مطالعات انجام شده از عصر صفوی را ارائه کرده است که خود می تواند چشم اندازهای تازه‌ای به مطالعات صفویه بگشاید.
