"I was no man in the Tudeh party" is the sentence that a former member of the Tudeh party wrote in the lines of his memoirs about his days of activity for the Tudeh party years after he worked in that political organization. Abdul Majid Majid Fayaz was not only known as a member of the Tudeh Party, he was the director of Hirmand Khorasan magazine and also a lawyer in Mashhad. Now, a few years after his death, his manuscripts from the days of his life and recounting his memories have been published in the form of the book "From Bagh Qasr to Qasr Arzohaha". The book of Memories is written in two volumes, and most of its lines are dedicated to the days of membership and activity in the Tudeh Party and the events of the 30s of Iran because the author explains his duty to the reader in the very opening pages of the book: "I am in the Tudeh Party. I was neither the top nor the bottom of the onion. I was one of those who were fascinated by the beautiful words of (Anwar) Khameei and his other companions, who cautiously left the party before being beaten and hit from the left and right, going to prison and being executed."

«من در حزب توده نه سر پیاز بودم و نه ته پیاز» این جمله‌ای است که یکی از اعضای سابق حزب توده سال‌ها بعد از فعالیت در آن تشکل سیاسی در میان سطور خاطرات خود از روزهای فعالیت‌اش برای حزب توده می‌نویسد. عبدالمجید مجید فیاض اما تنها به صفت عضویت در حزب توده شناخته شده نبود، که او مدیر مجله هیرمند خراسان بود و نیز وکیل دادگستری در مشهد. اکنون چند سالی پس ازمرگ او دست‌نوشته‌هایش از روزهای زندگی و بازگویی خاطراتش در قالب کتاب «از باغ قصر تا قصر آرزوها» منتشر شده است. کتاب خاطراتی که در دو جلد مدون شده و عمده سطور آن به روزهای عضویت و فعالیت در حزب توده و اتفاقات دهه 30 ایران اختصاص دارد چه آنکه نویسنده خود در همان صفحات آغازین کتاب تکلیف خود را با خواننده روشن می‌کند که: «من در حزب توده نه سر پیاز بودم و نه ته پیاز. یکی از مجذوب‌شدگان حرف‌های قشنگ (انور) خامه‌ای و همراهان دیگرشان بودم که آنها هوشیارانه حزب را پیش از قرار گرفتن در مسیر کتک خوردن و ضربه دیدن از چپ و راست و زندان رفتن‌ها و اعدام شدن‌ها ترک کردند.»
