Az zanān-i pardah'nishīn tā badan'hā-yi rām: Persiska (Farsi) 1399

The social construction of the home space in different historical periods provides different opportunities for the "seen" or "absence" of women and the representation of women in the ruling discourse. Therefore, focusing on male power relations and female resistance in competing discourses that are seen in the context of political, social, and cultural conflict in the atmosphere of houses of two traditional and modern periods shows how the female subject is constructed in these two semantic systems. This can represent the marginalized narratives and a form of gender identity that did not have a chance to live and be in the prevailing semantic system. The present book introduces various dimensions of key concepts in cultural studies and feminist discourse, introducing the readers to the concepts of daily life, architecture, and private and public space, so as to be able to study the clear correspondence between the discourse of gender and the discourse of space.
