Islamic culture is rich in various subjects, including principles, jurisprudence, and hadith, and we have rarely been able to show its richness to the world. Philosophy is very different from other fields of human knowledge, especially science. Any science can be learned regardless of its history, but this point does not apply to philosophy. It is a bit of a joke if someone claims to be a philosopher but does not know the history of philosophy. Unfortunately, we have neither written nor known the history of Islamic philosophy well. In the history of rational thinking in the Islamic world, a sad story prevails, philosophy has not always been popular and even not permissible so many philosophers have endured many difficulties and sufferings. But still, in such conditions, some have philosophized and shone, of course in Iran. In the history of Islamic philosophy, which spans a thousand years, more than ninety percent of influential people have been Iranians. The number of great thinkers who have come to the fore in the intellectual and philosophical field of Shiraz is not small by any means. But unfortunately, it must be said that the thought of these elders has not yet been carefully and critically examined, and less has been said about their works. Jalaluddin Devani is one of the distinguished thinkers of the Shiraz School of philosophy.
