This book is divided into two parts: The first part is the report that Seyyed Abul Hasan Kandahari, the ambassador of Iran in Afghanistan during the reign of Sher Ali Khan, made during his embassy there and contains first-hand information about Sher Ali Khan and its Afghanistan. The era and the text of the two treaties between England and Afghanistan are at that time. The second part of the literacy book is the text of several government letters and a decree written by the secretary Mohammad Azim, one of the secretaries of the Darul Sultanah of Herat, which is often related to one of the topics of the report in the first part, and in most of the letters, the name of Seyyed Abul Hasan Kandahari is seen. کتاب حاضر در دو بخش گرد آمده :است بخش نخست آن گزارشی است که سید ابوالحسن قندهاری سفیر ایران در افغانستان در زمان حکمرانی شیر علی خان از دوران سفارت خود در آن سامان به دست داده و دربردارندۀ اطلاعات دست اولی دربارۀ شیر علی خان و افغانستان آن دوران و نیز متن دو عهدنامه انگلیس و افغانستان در آن زمان است. بخش دوم کتاب سواد متن چند نامۀ دولتی و یک فرمان به قلم منشی محمد عظیم از منشیان دارالسلطنه هرات است که غالباً مربوط به یکی از موضوعات گزارش بخش نخست است و در اغلب نامه ها نام سیدابوالحسن قندهاری به چشم میخورد. کمد رو بخواند
