Al Boyeh was an Iranian and Shia family who had complete control over the Abbasid caliphate and their era was one of the most brilliant cultural periods of the eastern realm of Islam. The present book is a research about this family and the period of their rule. After referring to the origin and ancestry of the Bui people, the author mentions the condition of the Bui rulers and their property management style and the Ministry of Bureaucracy under their rule. آل‌ بویه خاندانی ایرانی و و شیعی بودند که بر دستگاه خلافت عباسی سیطرۀ کامل یافتند و عصر آنان از درخشان‌ترین ادوار فرهنگی قلمرو شرقی اسلام است. کتاب حاضر پژوهشی است دربارۀ این خاندان و دورۀ فرمانروایی آنان. مولف پس از اشاره به خاستگاه و نسب بوئیان به ذکر احوال فرمانروایان بوئی و شیوۀ ملک‌داری آنها پرداخته و وزارت دیوانسالاری را در عهد ایشان بررسیده است.القاب و عناوین،سکه‌ها،اقطاعات و دیگر منابع درآمد آل بویه،تحولات اجتماعی و کشاکش‌های مذهبی و نیز وضع دانش و ادب در قلمرو بوئیان از دیگر موضوعات مهم این کتاب است.
