The current translation of Anthony Kenny's History of Western Philosophy is important from two points of view: First, compiling the original text in English, which, contrary to the readers' imagination, has no parallels in the English language of Jahangir. What is famous in this field and has been translated into Farsi is a history of Western philosophy by Bertrand Russell, a great philosopher of the 20th century, and another one, which is much more detailed and goes into the substantive issues of philosophy more than Russell, is Frederick Capleston's history of philosophy.
