Events made her to describe what she has judged before emotionally now judge it with thought. رمان كه با توصيف راوي داستان پيرامون ياس و سرگشتگي هاي وي در زندگي اجتماعي امروزي آغاز مي شود، كناره جستن او را از اجتماع به تصوير مي كشد كه خود موجب ورود او به مرحله ي جديدي از زندگي مي شود. سير حوادث و سرشتي خاص او را وا مي دارد تا اين بار با سلاح انديشه، به قضاوت امري بنشيند كه پيش تر به ديده ي احساس تفسير كرده بود. مرور آن چه در ناخودآگاه جمعي او نقش بسته است و اوج گيري مجدد اندوه، اين بار او را در به پايان رساندن مسير ياري مي كنند و باعث ايجاد پيوند زندگي بروني و دروني، خودآگاه و ناخودآگاه، روح با روح كل و به تعبير ديگر، پيوند انسان و خدا مي شود.
