Some of social researchers for knowing the nature of religion study the essential forms of religion's life and know "the holy order" the essence of religion. For presenting a general theory about religion they begin to analyze from the most primitive and simple religious structures. The true of all religions, which is the basic factor is, "worship". Human is a worshipper and to worship is to search for completion.

برخي از محققان علوم اجتماعي، براي شناخت ماهيت مذهب به مطالعه صور بنياني حيات ديني مي پردازند و ذات مذهب را "امر مقدس" مي دانند. آنها براي ساختن نظريه اي عمومي درباره ي دين، از تحليل ساده ترين و بدوي ترين نهادهاي ديني آغاز مي كنند. حقيقت همه اديان كه همان عنصر بنياني باشد، به روايتي واقعي تر، مذهبي تر و حتي جامعه شناسانه تر، "پرستش" است. انسان موجودي است پرستنده و پرستندگي او تجسم كمال جويي اوست.
