This novel contains three different stories that sometimes relate to each other and at last at the end of book, they reach to a common point. The description of Devil's trip to Moscow, the destiny of Puntiyus Pilats and crucifying Jesus and the love story of the master and Margarita are the three pieces of the novel. These stories take place in two different times in the history: one is in the time of Jesus in Jerusalem and the other is in time of Istalin governing in Moscow. The important events take place from Wednesday till Sunday's morning.

اين رمان از سه داستان مختلف تشكيل شده است كه گاهي به هم مربوط مي شوند و بالاخره در انتهاي كتاب به وحدتي ارگانيك مي رسند. شرح وقايع سفر شيطان به مسكو، سرنوشت پونتيوس پيلاطس و تصليب مسيح و داستان عشق مرشد و مارگريتا اجزاء سه گانه رمان هستند. اين داستانها در دو زمان تاريخي مختلف رخ مي دهند: يكي زمان عيسي مسيح در اورشليم و ديگري زمان حكومت استالين در مسكو. وقايع اصلي هر دو از روز چهارشنبه آغاز و تا صبح يكشنبه ادامه دارند.
