Canne al vento: Italienska 2010

In the house of Pintor, Ruth, Noemi, Ester, descendants of a noble family that went into ruin, the servant Efix with great difficulty manages to preserve the decoration, cultivating the last remaining farm. In the past a fourth sister, Lia, had fled to the continent and Efix had been unintentionally due to the death of her father who tried to stop her. Lia is also dead, and her son, Giacinto, returns to the maternal house, a dissolute young man who is ruining his aunts. Noemi, bound by an ambiguous sentiment to her nephew, refuses the wedding with Don Predu to whom the farm had been sold. Efix who had moved away from the house he believed to be cursed by his own fault, returns and dies on the very day of the wedding between Noemi and Don Predu, having rediscovered peace.
