In this novel everyone is orphaned. Adopted little girl, foster parents, her own child, her husband, all her relatives and acquaintances at the end of the forties: without exception, everybody regards the lack of love as the accepted, the only living condition. These people are a deadly, rugged, plump gangon that fights their struggling lives, ranging from poverty to light years from the normal thought. Still, suppressed emotions and emotions sometimes break up, and these breakpoints give rise to momentum moments. This depressing and narrow but transparent world is the aquarium itself. Krisztina Tóth combines naturalism, irony and black humor with a "sense of proportion" with "ordinary catharsis", which cleanses our hard-to-work section of the past that strongly influences the collective consciousness.
