Language and society are completely intertwined and mutually influential. Language has a tremendous impact on society, and society has a significant impact on language. The main role of sociolinguistics is to study these interactions between language and society and to observe social developments to explain and interpret social developments in this way. Therefore, to study today's Iranian society and gain a better understanding of it, it is necessary to examine the course of linguistic-social developments in Iran from the beginning to the present, taking into account the intertwining of language and society. To achieve such a goal, the author of the present book has adopted a macro and temporal perspective on the relationship between the Persian language and the society around it, and has considered it necessary to examine the course of linguistic-social developments throughout history to better understand the current issues of the Persian language and Iranian society. With such an approach, it is possible to present a comprehensive picture of the situation of the languages ​​​​in Iran, especially the Persian language, and to examine the social issues of this language more carefully. Finally, the author tries to provide better and more appropriate solutions to solve current socio-linguistic issues based on the studies conducted.
