From Hatami's Path to the Professions of Hara'i is a collection of five unknown and lesser-known texts in the monastic and Sufi literature, including poetry and prose, and a collection of ghazals in the Shahr-e-Ashob style; a gift containing numerous social, historical, geographical, literary, and lexical points, and a guide to explaining fragments that are sometimes completely missing and sometimes partially known through conjecture, but as if buried in a sealed tomb, especially regarding the mystical/monastic tradition of Khorasan and the Sufi lineages, and also due to the inclusion of the novel treatise Sanayi al-Bada'i Saifi Bukhari, containing a document in the literary tradition of Shahr-e-Ashob. Najib Mayel Heravi, the corrector and compiler of these texts, has introduced the six treatises included in the book in a general introduction, briefly from the perspective of manuscript research, but he has not stopped there and has examined each text in detail and from the perspective of research and criticism under a separate introduction.

از طریقت حاتمی تا پیشه‌های هرایی مجموعه‌ای‌ست شامل پنج متن ناشناخته و کمتر شناخته در ادبیات خانقاهی و صوفیانه، اعم از نظم و نثر، و مجموعه غزلی در اسلوب شهرآشوب؛ تحفه‌ای حاوی نکات اجتماعی و تاریخی و جغرافیایی و ادبی و لغوی فراوان، و رهگشا از بابِ توضیح پاره‌هایی بعضاً یکسره مفقود و بعضاً تا حدی به حدس و گمان معلوم، اما گویی مدفون در دفینه‌ای سربه‌مُهر، خاصه دربارهٔ سنت عرفانی/خانقاهی خراسان و سلاسل صوفیان، و نیز به سبب درجِ رسالهٔ بدیع صنایع‌البدایع سیفی بخاری، حاوی سندی در سنت ادبی شهرآشوب‌نویسی. نجیب مایل هروی، مصصح و گرد‌آورندهٔ این متون، رساله‌های شش‌گانهٔ مندرج در کتاب را ضمن مقدمه‌ای کلّی اجمالاً از حیث نسخه‌پژوهی شناسانده، اما به این بسنده نکرده و هر متن را ذیل مقدمه‌ای جداگانه به‌تفصیل و به دیدهٔ تحقیق و نقد بررسی کرده است.
