The Jami’ al-Tawarikh by Taj al-Din Hassan ibn Shihab, a poet and historian of the 9th century AH, is a summary of several other historical books and contains a brief account of events from the beginning of creation to the author’s time.
The present book presents the introduction and the section on the post-Timur period of the Jami’ al-Tawarikh, which is considered its most important part. Since in this section the author has written down his observations, he has provided useful and first-hand information about the first half of the 9th century, especially about the Kerman region, and the aforementioned section is one of the reliable historical sources of that era.

در کتاب حاضر مقدمه و بخش مربوط به دورۀ بعد از تیمور جامع التواریخ ، که مهم‌ترین بخش آن شمرده می‌شود، عرضه شده است. از آنجا که در این بخش نویسنده مشاهدات خود را به قلم آورده اطلاعاتی مفید و دست اول دربارۀ نیمی از قرن نهم، به ویژه دربارۀ منطقۀ کرمان ، به دست داده و بخش مذکور یکی از منابع معتبر تاریخی آن عهد است.
