Lyudmila Petrushevskaya (b. 1938) is a novelist, poet, playwright, essayist, and author of fairy tales. Her works were published in millions of copies, and translated into different countries, and she has been awarded dozens of prizes, literary, theatrical, and even musical (from the State and Triumph awards to the American World Fantasy Award, the World Fantasy Award, by the way, the only one in Russia). The book How Much Women Know is special. This is the first – and anniversary – collection of the writer’s works in one volume. It includes old works that have already become classics (early stories and the novel Time is Night), as well as new prose, plays, and fairy tales.
