Although Ahmad Ghazzali has used concise and compact language in his "Biographies", he has expressed his words in the simplest way. Despite all the complex concepts he intends to convey to our ears, his warm breath penetrates deep into our being. And if we listen to his words, he will follow us step by step and take us beyond what can be understood by the five human senses. Ain al-Qadat Hamdani in "Maktobat" - quoted in our edition as an appendix to the treatise "Savanah" - opens up what Ahmad Ghazali said behind closed doors and shares it with us in the clearest way possible. Ain al-Qadat Hamdani followed the same path as Ahmad Ghazali with "Letters". Ain al-Qadat is the concrete embodiment of the lover who joins the beloved in "Savanah" by Ahmad Ghazali and becomes one with him. Ahmad Ghazzali's "Biography" continued with Ain al-Qudsati who wrote his "Preliminaries" and letters and reached the endpoint with that lover who was hanged in Hamadan.

احمد غزّالی در «سوانح» با این که زبانی به‌شدّت موجز و فشرده به کار برده است، لُبّ کلامش را به ساده‌ترین شیوه‌ی ممکن بیان کرده است و با وجود همه‌ی مفاهیم پیچیده‌ای که قصد دارد به گوش ما برساند، نَفَس گرمش در عمق وجود ما نفوذ می‌کند و اگر دل به گفتار او بدهیم، ما را قدم به قدم به دنبال خودش می‌کشد و با خودش به ماورای آنچه با حواس پنجگانه‌ی بشری قابل درک است می‌برد. عین‌القضات همدانی در «مکتوبات» ــ که در ویرایش ما به پیوست رساله‌ی «سوانح» نقل شده است ــ آنچه را که احمد غزّالی سربسته و در پرده گفته بود باز می‌کند و به روشن‌ترین وجه ممکن با ما در میان می‌گذارد. عین‌القضات همدانی با «مکتوبات» به همان راهی رفت که احمد غزّالی رفته بود. عین‌القضات تجسّم عینیِ آن عاشقی‌ست که در «سوانح» احمد غزّالی به معشوق می‌پیوندد و با او یکی می‌شود. «سوانح» احمد غزّالی با عین‌القضاتی که «تمهیدات» و مکتوباتش را نوشت ادامه پیدا کرد و با آن عاشقی که در همدان به دار آویختند به نقطه‌ی پایان رسید.
