Ebrahim Raha says about his new book: The events of the book take place in Tehran in the 1950s. In fact, Sherlock Holmes was involved in black magic in London at the end of the 19th century and caused headaches from around Ferdowsi Square in Tehran at the beginning of the decade. This change in time and place, when Holmes goes 70-80 years ahead and to another country with its own climate and culture, and he and his assistant Dr. Watson encounter the moral characteristics and social behaviors of us Iranians, which seem to have not changed during different decades. It was good humor. Referring to the people's interest in the program "Tunnel Zaman" (a program of one of the satellite channels about Iran in the 1350s), Raha noted: In this series, I have addressed the social, political and cultural issues of the Iranian society in the early 50s with a humorous and critical angle. In fact, this book is the tunnel of time from my point of view and my way of looking, with the same concerns and preoccupations I have always had in social, political and cultural criticism.
