Whenever I think about the few lines that I have to write on the back of the gramophone, what the subject is about, I can't say it is a story; It is memories; The biography of a political figure who, unlike many other Iranian political figures who are men, is a woman; The tragic story of the last years of a lonely woman named "Paryush Sotuti" who was twenty years old when her husband Dr. Hossein Fatemi was executed and she refused to live with another man for the next sixty years of her life is the story of aristocratic families whose son-in-law was killed by the Pahlavi regime. And their other son-in-law, Timsar Mehdi Rahimi, the military governor of Tehran, was executed by the Islamic regime. Whether or not the main story of the book is the incredible story of the infiltration of the British spy agencies in Mr. Ahmadinejad's government by one of their skilled agents named "Paryush Sotuti" or not at all, the story of how I know this lady? And how is it that he gives me the gramophone, which is a wedding gift from Dr. Mossadegh to him and his wife?

هرچه فکر میکنم که چند سطری را که پشت جلد گرامافون باید بنویسم که سوژه آن درباره چیست عقلم به جایی نمیرسد بگویم داستان است؛ خاطرات است؛ زندگی نامه یک چهره سیاسی است که برخلاف بسیاری از چهره های دیگر سیاسی ایرانی که مرد هستند او زن هست؛ روایت غم انگیز سالهای پایانی زنی تنهاست به نام «پریوش سطوتی» که بیست سالش بود وقتی همسرش دکتر حسین فاطمی اعدام شد و او در شصت سال بعدی زندگیش حاضر نشد با مرد دیگری زندگی کند یا نه داستان خانوادهای اشرافی است که یک دامادشان را حکومت پهلوی و داماد دیگرشان تیمسار مهدی رحیمی فرماندار نظامی تهران را نظام اسلامی اعدام کرد یا نه داستان اصلی ،کتاب ماجرای باور نکردنی نفوذ دستگاههای جاسوسی انگلستان در دولت آقای احمدی نژاد توسط یکی از مأمورین کارکشته شان به نام «پریوش سطوتی» است یا نه اصلاً داستان چگونگی آشنایی من با این خانم است؟ و اینکه چگونه میشود که او گرامافونی را که کادوی ازدواج دکتر مصدق به او و همسرش است را به من میبخشد
