Knowing the Arameans Arameans were a group of Semitic people who spoke the Aramaic language, which is one of the northern and western Semitic dialects like Canaanite and Hebrew. This language is similar to the Arabic language in many ways, which has led researchers to believe that the origin of the Aramaic dates back to the Arabian Peninsula, or that they lived in the Arabian Peninsula for some time before entering Mesopotamia and the Levant.

شناخت آرامی ها آرامی ها گروهی از اقوام سامی نژاد بودند که به زبان آرامی که یکی از لهجه های سامی شمالی و غربی مانند کنعانی و عبری است صحبت میکردند. این زبان از جهات مختلف به زبان عربی شباهت داشته به طوری که سبب شده است محققین معتقد شوند که اصل و ریشه آرامی ها به جزیره العرب برمیگردد و یا این که آن ها پیش از ورود به بین النهرین و شام، مدتی در جزیره العرب زندگی میکردند.
