(With an introduction about the contemporary history) In closed societis, there is no possibility and security, necessary for critical and scholaraly review of a topic unless it is completely part of history. And this task is possible just when the current generation is extinct. In analyzing and writing on the Islamic Revolution it is also necessary to depict it as it has been, and not to intervene the sentiment and views belonged to the situation it happened, we should not try to picture the past in todays color...

(با درآمدي پيرامون تاريخ معاصر) در جوامع بسته تا مقوله اي كاملا" تاريخي نگردد، امكان امنيت لازم براي بررسي انتقادي و اجتهادي پيرامون آن وجود ندارد و فقط زماني اين امكان به وجود مي آيد كه نسل حاضر ( كه براي شناخت راه آينده خويش بيشتر بدان نيازمند ميباشد) ديگر منقرض شده است... براي نگارش و تحليل انقلاب اسلامي نيز بايد آن را همانگونه كه بوده است به تصوير كشيد نه آنكه احساسات و افكار و شرايط متعلق به ظرف زماني كنوني خود را در به تصوير كشيدن آن دخالت داده و گذشته را به رنگ امروز درآوريم...
