It was amazing what I found in the bag of rare documents on coffee, copied from many museums and libraries of the world, including the National Library of France, the Library of Congress, the British Library, and endless anonymous scraps. Since I found the bag I struck coffee and learned to walk. Thus, I walked the paths of the historic coffee houses in Hejaz, Cairo, Damascus and Istanbul. Vienna, London, Paris and Berlin. And San Francisco, Boston, New York and the Viking capitals climbed the mountain of coffee, fleeing and loving. Then a student in its schools. And they called on short holidays. Then a roasting teacher. And we like it more in the cafes of the universe!

كان مذهلًا ما وجدته في الحقيبة من وثائق نادرة عن القهوة، منسوخة من كثير من متاحف ومكتبات العالم بما فيها مكتبة فرنسا الوطنية ومكتبة الكونجرس والمكتبة البريطانية وقصاصات لا نهائية مجهولة المصدر. ومُذ وجدتُ الحقيبة أُصبت بالقهوة، وتعلّمتُ المشي. وهكذا سِرت في طرقات بيوت القهوة التاريخية في الحجاز والقاهرة ودمشق وإسطنبول. وفيينا ولندن وباريس وبرلين. وسان فرنسيسكو وبوسطن ونيويورك وعواصم الفايكنج صعدت جبل القهوة، فارئاّ ومحباً. ثم تلميذا فى مدارسها. ونادلا في أيامم الإجازات القصيرة. ثم معلم تحميص . ومشاء بشكل أكبر في مقاهي الكون!
