Consistency can be seen in all types of literature, although the type of constancy is not the same in all, some people imagine that the examples of constancy literature are only in poems and epic and heroic works, while constancy in mystic literature, prayers, lyrical, didactic, dramatic, fictional and … Can be found. Persistence in mysticism and Sufism has an internal identity, and it is the struggle of the soul and human soul with the pulls and attractions that reduce and hinder human excellence and perfection, and in educational literature, perseverence has a great affinity with mystical and moral perseverence; In Pahlavi epics, stability is both in the outside world (against demonic and evil forces) and inside in opposition to fear, selfishness, lies, etc.

پایداری در همهٔ گونه‌های ادبی دیده می‌شود، هرچند جنس پایداری در همه یکسان نیست، برخی تصوّر می‌کنند مصادیق ادبیّات پایداری فقط در منظومه‌ها و آثار حماسی و پهلوانی است، در حالی‌که پایداری در ادبیّات عرفانی، ادعیه، ادبیّات غنایی، تعلیمی، نمایشی، داستانی و … یافت می‌شود. پایداری در عرفان و تصوّف، هویّت درونی دارد و کشمکش نفس و جان انسان با کشش‌ها و جاذبه‌های فرو کاهنده و بازدارندهٔ تعالی و کمال انسان است و در ادبیّات تعلیمی، پایداری قرابت فراوان با پایداری عرفانی و اخلاقی دارد؛ در حماسه‌های پهلوانی، پایداری هم در عالم بیرون (مقابل نیروهای اهریمنی و پلید) و هم در درون در تقابل با ترس، خودخواهی، دروغ و … است.
