"Brecht's Technique" examines Brecht's theatrical style from a theoretical and practical point of view, and by scrutinizing various aspects of this style - from dramatic structure to acting, language, music, reenactment, staging, and dialectic - tries to analyze Brecht's answers to the following questions. Kend: "How can you create a new theater for a new audience?... How can you make the theater both educational and entertaining? How can it be freed from the shackles of the spiritual drug trade and turned into an experience field instead of a market of illusions?..."

«تکنیک برشت» به بررسی اسلوب تئاتری برشت از دیدگاه نظری و عملی می‌پردازد و با موشکافی در جنبه‌های گوناگون این اسلوب ـ از ساختار نمایشی گرفته تا بازیگری، زبان، موسیقی، بازنگاری، صحنه‌پردازی و دیالکتیکی‌سازی ـ می‌کوشد تا پاسخ‌های برشت را به پرسش‌های زیر تحلیل کند: «چگونه می‌توان تئاتری نو برای تماشاگران نو برپا کرد؟... چگونه می‌توان تئاتر را هم آموزنده و هم سرگرم‌کننده کرد؟ چگونه می‌توان آن را از بند تجارت مخدّرات روحی رها و به‌جای بازار اوهام به عرصه‌ی تجربه تبدیل کرد؟...»
