Mr. and Mrs. Bélier are having dinner in their dining room when they are interrupted by the ringing of the telephone. However, the Bélier family does not have a telephone subscription. The mysterious caller insists and asks to speak to a certain Mr. Schmitt… Even stranger, Mr. and Mrs. Bélier discover that the interior of their apartment has changed: the frames hanging on the walls have been replaced by others, the books and clothes are not theirs… Are they, without knowing it, Mr. and Mrs. Schmitt?
