A university will be a university when it leaves a mark in our lives. The footprint of the university means the existence of better people to have a better world; This is what we expect from university culture. However, the culture that currently prevails in Iranian universities does not match the expectations of it as a scientific community. Freedom, truthfulness, loyalty to truth, truth, and academic honor have faded in the university and have given way to non-commitment to academic norms. The present book has tried to investigate and study, with an interpretative approach, why and how the disruption in Iran's university culture is from within the university and based on the views and experiences of the academicians themselves, and finally, to raise the question that in such a troubled situation, the role of How are the academics themselves in correcting and improving the current situation?
