The book "Philosophy of History" which deals with its "methodology and historiography" is a work consisting of a collection of articles compiled by "Hossein Ali Nozari". The concept of philosophical reflection on history and its nature is more than an interpretation and perception, and it is easier for modern writers to consider it as including two main types. On the one hand, they have distinguished the philosophy of history in the traditional or classical sense, which is concerned with the historical process as a whole and aims, in general, to provide an explanation or general explanation of the path and direction taken by that process. On the other hand, they have proposed the philosophy of history as a second-rate essay. Here, the focus is not on the actual sequence of events themselves, but on the procedures and categories that historians use in approaching the subject and understanding the material. The first, often referred to as the theoretical philosophy of history, has had a long and varied history. The second, which is generally known as the critical or analytical philosophy of history, became famous in the 20th century. Although the issues raised around the "philosophy of history" occupied the main place in the critical discussion of the 20th century, they are only an example of the issues that the analytical philosophers of history paid attention to. Other problems that attracted attention were related to the freedom and responsibility of historical factors, the nature and description of historical events, and the role of narrative in history. The book "Philosophy of History" which is dedicated to "Methodology and Historiography" includes articles that deal with some of these issues. The approach adopted in these articles has yielded significant results, which sheds light on the characteristics of historical research.
